SVBC Bhakthi Live

SVBC is an abbreviation for Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel. It is the pioneer devotional channel of TTD. It is amazing to know that it has become the first 24/7 hour satellite Telugu devotional channel which is dedicated to broadcasting Hindu devotional programs.

There are also live telecasts of poojas performed in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams from Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, India. As per information, it was launched by the then president of India, Pratibha Patil on July 7. 2008.

The main content of the channel is Hindu devotional programs. All the daily rituals performed in Tirumala and Tirupathi are broadcast on this channel. Moreover, an annual festival called the Lord Sri Venkateshwara Brahmotsavam is also performed on this.

An amazing piece of information is that TTD has decided to expand the channel to other South Indian Languages. The channel has won 11 Nandi TV awards in 2009 for its devotional serials. Furthermore, it is available on all cable, dish, and IPTV platforms in India as a free-to-air channel.
