It is an amazing piece of information that ABP News is a very famous Indian Hindi-language free-to-air television news channel. Currently, the channel is owned by ABP Group. As per information, the channel was launched in 1988 originally as STAR News. Later, it was rebranded by ABP News.
The channel was founded by satellite television provider Star India in partnership with NDTV media company. Initially, the channel was broadcasted in both English and Hindi. Later, its programming turned Hindi-only in 2003, after Star’s deal with NDTV was expired.
It is a known fact that in November 2016, Avinash Pandey became the chief operating officer of ABP News. In the second half of 2020, all of ABP’s channels were gradually revamped.
