It is interesting to know that A1 TV Live was an all-news private television station in Tirana, Albania. It was founded by media mogul Koco Kokedhima and owned by Shekulli Newspaper.
Initially, A1 Report was TV Balkan in 2002. Later, the name was changed to A1 TV. During this time period, the channel tried to attract a large audience with the help of shows including Paparazzi and Hienat.
It was also considered the only station with pure economic TV shows like A1 Bzines and Kapital. It is a 24/7 news channel with updates available. Since January 2007, the channel has started airing movies.
In the ensuing years, the channel changed logos a few times and became A1 Report affiliated with Shqiptarja.com newspaper. In 2016, Carlo Bollio decided to withdraw from this channel and started his own channel named Report TV. Consequently, Kokedhima re-branded the channel as A1 News Channel.
With the passage of time, A1 TV Live has become a very famous hybrid UK-based satellite television service. Its availability is on channel 779 on Sky.
